Open Outlook Express
If it asks to connect to the net click Work offline or No
Go to the Tools menu and select Accounts
Click on the Mail tab highlight the relevant account and then click Properties
On the Setup tab check the box at the bottom of the page My server requires authentication
Then click the Settings button next to there and ensure that
Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected.
Click OK on each screen to ensure that changes are saved.
